I recently read this on another website, found it worthy of reposting.

Currently, over 200 million Christians worldwide are living under the threat of persecution. In countries near and far, people are being persecuted simply because of their faith. Hundreds of men and women are in prison serving sentences that range from a few months to life. They are not criminals who have robbed or murdered other citizens but Christians who were put on trial for their faith in Christ and found guilty. Christians are beaten, tortured, imprisoned, and murdered by those who are hostile to their faith in Jesus Christ.


Never before in American history have Christians experienced being hated for following Jesus Christ as they are today.

Here in America the persecution of Christians has not yet reached the feverish pitch as in other parts of the world. There is still a Constitution that protects them and allows them to freely practice their faith. But, broiling beneath the surface, the same hatred of God that exists in other parts of the world is festering in all our institutions. Slowly, methodically, and incrementally the anti-God forces are working to remove that Constitutional barrier.

It is important to recognize that those who are working for the dissolution of our society have a spiritual agenda. They are not merely attempting to dismantle the historic cultural values of this nation and move us toward a homogenized world. They also want to destroy Christianity and Bible-based religion. It is a clear part of their agenda, and they have already moved a long way in that direction.

In America it is called ‘secularism’ and is becoming visible in all walks of life and in all our institutions. Numerous legislative and legal battles which I’ll discuss below attest to the fact that religious warfare is taking place.

In the month of May 2009 the Obama administration has excluded the Bible quote from his daily intelligence briefings. In its prayer which the CHPP published regarding this news coming out of the Obama White House it asked God’s forgiveness for “the rebelliousness of our nation to go against You! We pray that You will quickly remove those who are burdening our nation with laws against You and replace them with righteous people.”

However, the rebellion against God is at its increasing pace then ever before in the land that once said “IN GOD WE TRUST”


The Supreme Court in June 1962 has banned organized prayers from the public schools in USA.

The entertainment industry and the news media sneer at anyone who defends Jesus Christ in public and have been leading a propaganda war of stereotyping Christians into a subordinate class. Their distortions reflect a genuine misunderstanding of who Christians are and what they believe.


The anti-Christian bias is a reality in many companies today — as you will discover if you refuse to work on Sundays, if you question “shading the truth” in presentations, or if you stubbornly hold to your Christian standards.

The trend in the public forum is to replace the word “Christmas” with “Season’s Greetings” or “Happy Holidays.” Christmas has become X’mas and Jesus Christ is become JC.

In March 1998, The ACLU put pressure on the small town of Republic, Missouri to remove a fish symbol from its official logo, calling it a “secret sign of Christianity.”


In April 1998, Rev. Patrick Mahoney was arrested for praying on the steps of the Supreme Court.


Tourists visiting Washington D.C. in 1997 were ordered by the police to stop praying in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol.

In 2003, the National Park Service removed 30 year-old plaques inscribed with Bible verses at Grand Canyon following complaints from the American Civil Liberties Union. (Agape Press)


Possibly the most sinister battlefield in the war on Christianity takes place in the classroom. The Ten Commandments have been prohibited on school bulletin boards and most forms of prayer have been declared unconstitutional in the nation’s schools, even that which is student initiated.

Atheists and others who hate God despises Christians who help others come to a saving knowledge of Christ. They are determined to battle those who would help immature Christians — particularly Christian children — grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.


Increasingly, our children are discriminated against for trying to present their Christian convictions in school.

Dozens of Albertville Alabama middle school students were suspended for two-days for walking out of class to protest a federal court ruling that bans school prayer. In 1997 U.S. District Court Judge Ira DeMent struck down a law that required schools to allow voluntary student-initiated prayers at school events, saying it created excessive state entanglement in religion. He ordered the end to school-sponsored religious activities, such as prayers during morning announcements and at school events even though it isn’t forced on students.

In 1997, a high school student in Florida was suspended for handing out religious literature before and after – but not during – school hours. Two high school students in Texas were told by their principal they could not wear rosaries. The Principal claimed that they were symbols of gang activity, even though the boys were not involved in any gang.


In 2002, music teachers in Michigan, Maryland, and Virginia didn’t allow students to perform traditional carols like “Silent Night” and “The First Noel” during Chrismas. A New Jersey public school banned the Charles Dickens play, “A Christmas Carol” because of its spiritual overtones and message of redemption.

Some countries in the Far East have even gone to extent to ban bible from teaching children because it contains sexual contents but they have failed to control prostitution trade, internet porn, morn magazines on the bookstands and guess what the highest numbers of buyers of the porn magazines are teenagers.

Oct 3, 2009 – A Georgia School is banning Bible verses from football games. The cheerleaders for the Warriors of Fort Oglethorpe High School football team will not be promoting Bible verses during public school football games any longer. The school district was right to ban the Bible verses. These people have no right to try to shove their religious superstitions down the throat of every individual who wants to come out and watch the high school football team. In past games cheerleaders have displayed banners with Bible verses during the game. The school district banned the banners because they are unconstitutional and would provoke a justified lawsuit.

What I have collected above is just to name a few or else we shall be reading this note for the next two days, what surprises me is that this was not the idea of the founders of the USA and let me not tell you that this is some sort of end time prophecy. What I can say is to my fellow Christians that we cannot be weak in the faith and allow such evils to overcome us. We need to spread the word of the God and save our brothers & sisters from falling into the trap of devil.


I will also not ask you to go and fight a similar war like the Jihad or a crusade, but the fellowship and spreading the word of God starts from our Home, our local community, our society and our town.

I see a major problem occurring today among those who profess to be followers of Jesus Christ. Many of God’s children are enticed with and even enjoying very wicked lifestyles.

 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

 We should pay close attention to what God tells us.

 The end is in sight, therefore shouldn’t we who are called by His name (Christians), be turning from our wicked ways? Let’s think about it for a minute. Have we?
 This time in which we live is certainly the last of the last days. Everyone who professes to be following the Lord Jesus Christ should be evaluating their lives and looking in the mirror to see who’s looking back.
Is Jesus looking back at you and smiling that smile that says “Well done my good and faithful servant”? Or is the world looking back at you and whispering “You’re one of us”.

Question: Were the 6 days of Creation Ordinary Days?

Answer:
People who claim the Hebrew word yom (day) in Genesis Chapter 1 can have many meanings, usually hope there is one thing in cannot mean - 24 hours!  God forbid that our Creator doesn't say what he means and means what he says. The very fact that that if we didn't "get it" after reading the first chapter of Genesis, the very finger of God spelled it out VERY CLEARLY in Exodus when He said in Exodus 20:11

“For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy."

 After all, if you can't trust what God says right from the beginning of His word, why should we believe the rest of it.  That's why you get falliable men trying to change the Word of God in order to use secular evolutionary long age time scales. Even Carl Sagen had more discernment then many Christians. Carl Sagan said, "The only truly intellectual dishonest position out there is the position that tries to wed Genesis with big bang cosmology." For thousands of years, Christians have held onto the truth of God's Word as the foundation for their belief in creation. Some though have altered His Word to say something very different about the origins of the universe. What are these changes and how have they affected Christianity?  This is where unbiblical theories such as day age, gap theory,  progressive creation, theistic evolution  etc. come into play with various facets of what calls it self "christianity" All of these theories place death before sin.  And that would make God a liar.  Thus enter the serpent with his "Did God Really Say??"  After all Satan knows Psalm 11:3 better than alot of christians and he is milking it for all its worth by undermining the foundation of God's Word - Genesis 1-11. 

Psalm 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth     Our Awesome, Powerful  God literally just spoke things inter existance.

Was there death, pain, and suffering before Adam and Eve's sin?

At the close of the Creation Week, God called everything He had made 'very good'. This is powerful evidence against the idea that long ages of suffering and dying took place before the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, appeared.

The idea of millions of years came from the belief that the fossil record was built up over a long time. As soon as people allow for millions of years, they allow for the fossil record to be millions of years old. This creates an insurmountable problem regarding the gospel. The fossil record consists of the death of billions of creatures. In fact, it is a record of death, disease, suffering, cruelty, and brutality. It is a very ugly record.


The Bible is adamant though, that death, disease, and suffering came into the world as a result of sin. God instituted death and bloodshed because of sin so man could be redeemed. As soon as Christians allow for death, suffering, and disease before sin, then the whole foundations of the message of the Cross and the Atonement have been destroyed. The doctrine of original sin, then, is totally undermined.

If there were death, disease, and suffering before Adam rebelled—then what did sin do to the world? What does Paul mean in Romans 8 when he says the whole of creation groans in pain because of the Curse? How can all things be restored in the future to no more death and suffering, unless the beginning was also free of death and suffering? The whole message of the gospel falls apart if one allows millions of years for the creation of the world.

The Bible clearly teaches that humans and dinosaurs (called "dragons" in the past) were created on the same day. One must engage in hermeneutical back flips to interpret the Bible in any other way on this point. It also goes on to describe interactions between humans and these creatures

What many people are not aware of is that there exists a considerable body of evidence that supports the biblical claim of human/dinosaur interaction. Some of this evidence suggests that this may be happening even today in certain parts of the world like the African Congo, and even here in the United States.

This evidence exists in many forms. Some examples include:
1. Eye witness accounts by many people of creatures that are exactly like dinosaurs in appearance. The descriptions include not only sightings, but people actually hunting and killing them are being killed by them. These stories have been documented all over the world in many different cultures. They exist in the writings of several well-known ancient people, and have been documented by scientists as recently as a few years ago. Some of the best information along these lines come from evolutionists in their book titled "A Living Dinosaur?".

2.Art work and various ancient artifacts depicting live dinosaurs by themselves, or interacting with humans. These include burial stones, burial cloths, clay figurines, cave drawings, etc.

3. Fossilized footprints of humans and dinosaurs together. (See a couple of Posts down for one example of pictures).

Because evolutionists and the news media have so thoroughly indoctrinated our society into believing we lived millions of years apart from dinosaurs, many will immediately dismiss such evidences as hoaxes, or the result of overactive imaginations. However, like many other 'anomalies' that evolutionists try to explain away or dismiss, this evidence is far too abundant worldwide to ignore.

The problem for evolutionists is that if this is true, it would deal a major blow to evolutionism theory. Some evolutionists will say that if a few dinosaurs were found alive today, it would not do harm to evolutionism. But we're not talking about a few isolated incidents. There are many incidents around the world that are documented in many different cultures. The evidence suggests that this interaction between humans and dinosaurs has in the past been wide-spread, not isolated. If true, this would indeed present a major problem for evolutionists to explain using their world view of origins.
