For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse   Romans 1:20

The essential truth was presented, namely that the God of Creation is one God, in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

This is arguably the most important doctrine of Christianity—certainly the most distinctive. This DOES NOT mean that there are three Gods; there is only ONE God who created Heaven and Earth and everything in them. The term "God" as used in the Bible most commonly refers to the Father, but the Son and the Holy Spirit are each also recognized as God. This concept is so difficult for many to accept that some have argued that the three divine Persons are not really three distinct individuals but merely three modes in which the one God can express Himself as occasion demands.
But this also is a false invention. There are many accounts of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit speaking to each other, for example. The doctrine of the Trinity is admittedly difficult (in fact impossible) to comprehend fully with our minds, but it is taught so definitely in God's Word that we believe it with our hearts.


Skeptics can deride the Trinity doctrine as mathematically impossible. One plus One plus One does not equal One, but three. Nevertheless, the Bible reveals God to be a Trinity—one God in three Persons. Are we naïve and credulous to believe such a thing?

Well, not really. It is also a remarkable fact that the divine Trinity, the tri-une God, has created a great universe which is itself a trinity, with each of its three components also structured as trinities. This would not necessarily prove that God is a Trinity, but it is a fact that needs explanation. Could God have created it as a model (or type, or analogy) that would help people understand His own Nature, at least in some degree?


Consider: The created universe is actually a tri-universe of Space, Matter, and Time, each permeating and representing the whole. However, the universe is not partly composed of space, partly of matter, and partly of time (like, for example, the three sides of a triangle). A trinity is not a trio or a triad, but a tri-unity, with each part comprising the whole, yet all three required to make the whole. Thus, the universe is all Space, all Time, and all Matter (including energy as a form of matter); in fact, many scientists speak of it as a Space-Matter-Time continuum.

Furthermore, note the parallels between the divine trinity and the tri-universe in terms of the logical order of its three components. Space is the invisible, omnipresent background of everything in the universe. Matter-and-Energy reveal the reality of the universe. Time makes the universe understandable in the events occurring in it. Note that exactly the same sentence will apply if the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit replace the words, Space, Matter, and Time.
Space itself is also a tri-unity, comprised of three dimensions, (height, width and depth) with each dimension permeating all space. The reality of any portion of space is obtained by multiplying the three dimensions together (the "mathematics of the Trinity" is not 1+1+1=1, but rather 1x1x1=1). Further, Space is identified in the first dimension seen in the second dimension, experienced in the third dimension. The same sentence could be used with Father, Son, and Spirit replacing first, second, and third dimensions.
Similarly, Time is future, present, and past. The future is the unseen source of time, manifest moment-by-moment in the present and understood in the past. Again substitute Father, Son, and Spirit.
Finally, Matter is unseen, omnipresent Energy, manifesting itself in various forms of measurable motion, then experienced in corresponding phenomena. For example, light energy generates light waves, which are experienced in the seeing of light. Sound energy generates sound waves which we experience when we hear sound.
Thus, the physical universe is a great "trinity of trinities," with the inner relationships of each element modeling the relationships of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All of this (as cautioned above) does not prove that God is a Trinity, but it certainly is a remarkable fact. It is an amazing effect, which can at least seemingly be explained on the assumption that God is a tri-une God, and has made His creation to reflect Himself. In fact it is very hard to explain any other way.
These trinities pervading the creation may not be perfect reflections of the Creator. But they are good and realistic models of the tri-une God who made them.
It would seem there must be some good explanation for this remarkable fact other than coincidence. A plausible explanation would surely seem to be that they were deliberately created by God to help us understand, in at least some small degree, His own tri-une nature

To truly understand the times, we need to know who the movers and shakers are and how they schemed to have things play out as they have in the last 100+ years.


I've got good news and bad news and good news. First, the good news: GOD IS IN CONTROL A link to this beautifully encouraging and challenging song was emailed to Jan recently. And we all need this encouragement after being so demoralized in the last week -- not to mention the last couple of years. Our Heavenly Father absolutely knows what is happening to us, and He has it well in hand.

Now I've got some bad news -- although I have to say I don't really see it as totally bad news because of my perspective on it: I am convinced we are watching the set-up for what's known as the Tribulation.

Let me ask you a question: If one were to go about preparing for a world system that would be taken over by someone empowered by Satan, a system that would give this someone complete control of and loyalty from the people of the world, how would he do it? Well, we're not going to go through all the maneuverings today, but let me give you a little taste and see if anything sounds familiar.

LAY THE FOUNDATION: The most necessary thing would be to lay a satanically inspired foundation for this structure: A broad base upon which this system would be built. Now it just so happens that a woman named Alice Bailey (1880-1949) who founded a publishing company named The Lucifer Publishing Company, communed with a demon known as "The Tibetan." Through Alice Bailey, "The Tibetan" explained that the world must change. Specifically, he said, "The old established rhythms, inherent in the old forms of religion, of politics, and of the social order, must give place to newer ideals . . . and to the new order."

In his new, critical book Grave Influence, Brannon Howse gives the background of 21 radicals who have each contributed to society's transformation process. Of Bailey he says, "Bailey's worldview and goals have shaped the thinking of many individuals we examine in this book. To fully grasp the worldview war raging among us, we must understand the philosophies of Alice Bailey." Bailey and her Tibetan friend laid the foundation for this New World Order.




INVADE THE CHURCH:.'" Two men that Brannon introduces in his book -- Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855) and Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) -- "believed a person could not know truth, that we should embrace the mysticism of the world and reject absolutes." This idea has been labeled "Existentialism". Existentialism gave birth to post-modernism (which argues that truth and reality are created by man and not by God and that truth is situational and subjective) and post-modernism gave birth to neo-orthodoxy and, eventually, the Emergent Church. Brannon says, "The rise of the Emergent Church brings to mind the words of the late Vance Havner regarding Satan's shrewdest strategy for getting his way in the world: 'The devil is not fighting religion; he is too smart for that. He is producing a counterfeit Christianity so much like the real one that good Christians are afraid to speak out against it

OVERRUN THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM: Get 'em while they're young. Heard that before? John Dewey (1859-1952) is known as "the father of education." He is less famous for the pedigree he worked so hard to establish. He was "a Fabian Socialist, signer of the Humanist Manifesto 1, founding member of the American Civil Liberties Union, and the president of the League for Industrial Democracy . . . John Dewey admitted that the purpose of school is not to create educated students but to change their values and prepare them for their place in life. Benjamin Bloom [1913-1999 - Brannon covers him too] admitted that the goal of his educational philosophy is to change a student's 'fixed beliefs.

Enter: Outcome-Based Education (aka Mastery Learning, aka Goals 2000, aka No Child Left Behind). Brannon says, "There is reason to believe that thought control is exactly what the educrats in Washington have in mind." Whoa -- heavy charge. But check this out: In the 1970s, a controversial social studies program called Man: A Course of Study, was introduced into many American schools. The course was designed by B. F. Skinner (1904-1990, yes, he's covered too) with the expressed goal "to mold children's social attitudes and beliefs along lines that set them apart and alienate them from the beliefs and moral values of their parents and local community." I'll just say it: The picture I got reading these sections of Brannon's book brought pictures of Hitler Youth to mind. A New World Order requires citizens -- and specifically an army -- predisposed to do the bidding of the State.

DESTROY THE FINAL OBSTACLE: In last week's e-alert Jan made this amazing deduction -- among many -- "We do know the biggest factor holding up the one-world order has been America."

On March 16, Jack Kinsella wrote a brilliant article on the history of the Left's desire to pass health care and intimated that the passing of health care legislation would equal the acquiring of control over the people of America when he said, "Until now, government control has been limited to those the government has managed to make dependent on them . . . but that only covers a small segment of the population on any given issue. Everybody gets sick. Everybody needs health care. That's why 'True Believers' in Congress are evidently ready to fall on their swords in order to seize it." And earlier this week in a local Michigan radio interview, Democratic House Congressman John Dingell seemed to confirm Jack's theory.

Finally, on March 24, Rush Limbaugh played clips from a CNBC interview with hedge fund co-founder and author David Mullins who told his interviewers that the 900-year-old "Western Christian Empire," of which America is the largest part, is in decline and that something will quickly move in to fill the vacuum created by its end.

I've said it before, and I'll doubtless say it again: It's all coming together. If you read Brannon's book -- and I really, strongly encourage you to read it -- you will see how we're being set up. All of the building blocks needed to construct this world system have been molded for hundreds of years to bring us to this place and this time. As you see him put each of these bricks in place, a structure will form that looks amazingly like the one-world system needed to usher in the Antichrist. And folks, it looks to me like they're ready to dedicate the building and cut the ribbon.

Now, back to the good news: Jesus is coming to get us first! I say this unabashedly. The reason the construct of the one-world system doesn't terrify me is because I'm not planning to be around when the man of sin steps onto the scene. Actually, as I see prophecy unfolding like this, I get excited! Jesus promised He'd come and get us. And He said that we would be kept from the hour of trial that is coming on the earth. And Paul told the Thessalonians that Jesus will deliver us from the wrath to come. We're goin' Home!! This is our "blessed hope"!


(We at Olive Tree Ministries know that not all of you share a pre-Tribulation Rapture theology, but as Dr. Gary Frazier said on Jan's radio program last Saturday, March 27, "Let's not have great divides over this." This isn't "escapist theology." The fact is that there may be plenty of tough times that American and other Western Christians have to go through in the coming weeks, months, and years. There is a war against Christianity in America right now. But this war is coming from man's wrath. What happens in the Tribulation Heidi is referring to is God's wrath. Heidi refers to the "blessed hope" and many need this in these tumultuous times. We have heard from thousands who express great comfort in this.)


While we're here, God wants us to understand what is happening around us and respond biblically. We mustn't disengage from life. We must keep fighting for the salvation of souls up until the very last minute. As Brannon says, "The spiritual war rages, and the stakes are much higher because the battle is no longer for our culture but for the souls, hearts, and minds of our children and grandchildren" (and, I would add, of those friends, co-workers and neighbors all around us).

So, know what is happening in our world and why it is happening; fight for the lost souls all around you, keep looking for Jesus to come; and -- in the midst of all of this chaos -- remember: God is in Control!

Readers, there is nothing worse that could happen in the tense political climate we're presently witnessing in the United States of America than for violence to erupt.


If (KEYWORD: IF) there actually is a Leftist revolution in opposition to the will of the American people underway, as many from the Right suspect is the case, the very last thing conservatives, particularly conservative Christians who've already been labeled as so-called 'right-wing extremists', need is the Left in possession of anything remotely close to a legitimate reason to demonize or lash out against us.


As I've been documenting here, the Left has been masterfully deceiving large portions of the American populace through their allies, the mainstream media, for some time now concerning the character and motives of anyone and everyone they feel poses any sort of threat to the Obama administration's agenda for changing America. Therefore, exercising extreme restraint in the face of what appears a grave threat to our Republic is advisable. Acting otherwise, in any sort of revolutionary environment, real or perceived, would serve the Left. Who in their Right mind would want to do THAT? Not me. No way!


Please, Christians. Encourage everyone in your circle of influence to be patient and longsuffering in keeping with the teachings of scripture. This is a time for us to turn to God in prayer, not to Smith & Wesson.


If our nation falling into some sort of revolution, bankrupty or profound disarray is part of God's end times prophetic plan, there is nothing anyone can do to stop it through violence. If there remains hope for our nation, petitioning God to help us is our very best course of action. We can ill afford to forget that at a time like this.


2nd Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.


Christians, we have been sent forth "as sheep in the midst of wolves", according to Matthew 10:16.

This is a time for us to be "wise as serpents, and harmless as doves".

This is something that we ALL need to hear, in today's churches, there are too many people that are compromising God's word. And many pastors today are afraid to stand up for God's Word in fear of offending someone. The world has taken one piece of scripture and reads it out of context, Matthew 7:1-2 1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. They need to not stop there but to keep reading the rest of the passage, Matthew 1-9 to get the full meaning of what God's Word says about judging others. The Significance of One's Worldview

Ignorance of the Scriptures is epidemic in the Church today, even among those who call themselves Evangelicals. As a result, the average Christian does not have the slightest idea how to defend the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Even worse, many could not even define the fundamentals of the faith!The Significance of One's Worldview

Why is this important? As Barna puts it, "A worldview serves as a person's decision-making filter." It is what determines how the person will interpret and deal with the complexities of life. Barna's research has discovered that there are large differences in behavior related to matters such as media use, profanity, gambling, alcohol use, honesty, civility, and sexual choices — all depending upon one's worldview. And Barna's research has revealed that the worldview of the average person is firmly in place by the age of 13.

To get specific, Barna's research has discovered that those without a biblical worldview are:
100 times more likely to endorse abortion.
80 times more likely to say that exposure to pornography is morally acceptable.
31 times more likely to believe that living together before marriage is morally acceptable.
15 times more likely to believe homosexuality is morally acceptable.
18 times more likely to endorse drunkenness.
12 times more likely to accept profanity.
11 times more likely to say adultery is okay.
9 times more likely to gamble by purchasing lottery tickets.
Where Do You Stand?Let's take a look at how the Barna organization determines whether or not a person has a biblical worldview. Here are Barna's eight determining questions:
Do you believe that absolute moral truths exist?
Do you believe the Bible defines those truths?
Do you believe Jesus Christ lived a sinless life?
Do you believe God created the universe?
Do you believe Satan is a real living entity?
Do you believe that salvation is a gift of God that cannot be earned?
Do you believe that Christians have an obligation to share the Gospel with the unsaved?
Do you believe the Bible is accurate in all its teachings?

 Look over the above list carefully and ponder it in your heart. The fact that only 9% of those who claim to be born-again agree with all eight statements is mind-boggling. George Barna has concluded that "the primary reason Christians do not act like Jesus is because they do not think like Jesus."

Poll after poll has shown that the most widely known Bible verse among both adult and teen believers is "God helps those who help themselves." The problem is that this is not a Bible verse, and even worse, it expresses an idea that is completely unbiblical!

This incredible biblical ignorance among Evangelical teens makes you wonder what is going on in youth ministries. Are they doing anything other than playing games and conducting wiener roasts?


We need to get back to the Word. Back to the fundamentals of the Faith. And we need to learn how to defend what we believe.

Following President Obama’s annual “State of the Union” address, biblical apologist Ken Ham will soon offer his “State of the Nation” speech, highlighting how far the U.S. has wandered from its moral foundations, and calling Christians back to their biblical roots.



Ham, president of Answers in Genesis (AiG), the biblical apologetics ministry responsible for the world-renowned Creation Museum near Cincinnati, will present his speech from inside the Creation Museum and via webcast live.


“Many Christians have been duped into accepting a false idea: that there is a ‘neutral’ position they can take in regard to social issues,” Ham said. “Some Christians even accept the myth that the U.S. Constitution declares that there should be a separation of church and state. They are hesitant to inject Christian beliefs into politics.


“God’s Word, however, makes it clear that there is no neutral position,” Ham continued. “God’s people need to unashamedly and uncompromisingly stand on the Bible and its absolute standards. We need to proclaim a Christian worldview and the Gospel, all the while giving answers for the hope we have.”


Ham’s webcast (his speech is not open to the public) will touch on social issues such as abortion, “gay” marriage, origins, and the role of religion in society. He will encourage Christians to know what the Bible says on these matters, and help them understand how to defend the biblical viewpoint in an increasingly hostile environment.


“We need to learn what we can do to call America back to the only sure foundation—biblical authority,” Ham explained. “We need to stand unashamedly upon God’s Word in the face of a skeptical society and find out how we can do more than just watch our country slip into a moral quagmire.”
